Museum of Siam

From 2005 to 2007, Story Inc partnered with Thai companies Pico and DesignLAB, creating the concepts, design and content for a new Museum of Siam.

This fun, informative and interactive museum is sited in one of Bangkok’s most magnificent heritage buildings.

Aimed primarily at young Thai people, the museum uses a range of media to explain and explore Thailand’s diverse history. The exhibition’s central feature is a roong (rainbow or ribbon) that acts as a ‘river of history’, a timeline and an interactive wall, winding through the galleries tying the different stories and characters together.
